With over 30 years of pool design and construction expertise, we’ve perfected our construction process to create a pool design that perfectly fits your family and budget. Our goal is to provide a seamless pool building experience, reliable pool operation, and ultimate customer satisfaction for pool owners.
Step 1 - Initial (FREE) Pool Consultation and Design
Our construction process begins with a friendly in-home consultation, where we really take the time to understand your unique needs, lifestyle, and budget. Together, we’ll explore a variety of options (including our base pools) to turn your backyard into the oasis of your dreams.
Our talented team of designers will then create a personalized 3D rendering of your pool design, so you can see the final result before we even start building.
Step 2 - Site prep and layout
Ensuring a smooth start begins with careful job planning. We will provide you with advanced notice before our crews arrive. Our team will meticulously prepare your yard for the swimming pool construction process, including measuring, laying out, and preparing permits. Rest assured, we will take every precaution to safeguard your existing landscaping and outdoor features. Step 3 - Excavation
When it comes to excavating your pool and spa area, we take extra care to follow our carefully laid out guides and markers. This ensures that you’ll have a solid foundation and proper wall support.
We don’t leave this important step to just anybody – we handle it ourselves. It’s usually the favorite part for the family to watch!
Step 4 - Framework, plumbing and electrical
First, we’ll carefully install the support structure for your pool, along with all the plumbing lines and electrical wiring. We’ll even test the stability of the framework and conduct multiple pressure tests on the plumbing to make sure everything is solid. Since we know that you’ll need electricity for everything from the pool equipment to the pool and landscaping lighting, our crew will follow the plans and make sure you have power exactly where you need it.
Step 5 - Surface installation
This is the stage where the pool truly comes to life as our skilled team expertly applies the surface coating of your choice to the framework. You’ll have the opportunity to observe our team as they meticulously spray and smooth the pool, shaping it into its final form.
Step 6 - Decking and tile
Whether it is a stamped look to match your existing walkways or a more low-key traditional look we will make sure your deck compliments your pool as well as suits your lifestyle. We also help you select the right tile to give your swimming pool a great finished look at the waterline.

Step 7 - Finish surface

This step requires both skill and artistry because it’s what everyone sees and feels when they’re in your pool. It usually takes a day or two, depending on the materials and design. But taking the time to do things the right way has long-term benefits.
Step 8 - Landscaping
As we’re getting closer to finishing up the pool, we can start thinking about making its surroundings even better. If you didn’t know that now do custom landscaping! Step 9 - Start up
This is where we really shine. We take care of setting up your equipment and making sure your pool has the right chemical balance. We know that this might all be new to you, so we’ll take our time and have multiple sessions over two weeks to train you on how to operate your new pool and answer any questions you have.
Step 10 - Clean up
The final step in the construction process is the cleanup! Before we head out, we make sure to tidy up the work area, going through a thorough inspection of everything we’ve installed or relocated. Our main goal? To give you nothing but the backyard of your dreams.
